NFPPD in collaboration with the National Concern and Coordination Committee of the National Assembly and UNFPA organized a workshop on ICPD30 for parliamentarians on September 1-2 in Kathmandu Nepal. The workshop covered topics such as: Parliamentarians' Role to Implement ICPD PoA and 2030 Agenda; Addressing Gender Equality and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights towards ICPD 30; and Highlighting 2021 Census and 2022 DHS Data.
Rt. Honorable Speaker of the House of Representatives, Four Parliamentary Committee Chairs and UNFPA Nepal Country Representative attended the event. Altogether there were 44 parliamentarians and 20 parliamentary staff.
